Your Morocco Tour still brings wonders, today we will leave Chefchaouen and drive to Casablanca via Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Visit the Hassan Tower, a partially completed tower from the 1200s, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, where the remains of the late monarch and his sons are laid to rest. Today’s first visit after leaving Boumalne dades is the Todra Gorges. These towering limestone cliffs rise dramatically on either side of a narrow river valley. Take a leisurely stroll or a short hike to this natural wonder and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. As we continue on our way we will make a pause in Rissani, to visit the traditional market, where you can experience local life and shop for unique Moroccan handicrafts. Afterward, head to the world-renowned Erg Chebbi dunes in the Merzouga Desert. Enjoy a stunning desert sunset on a camel ride, then spend the night in a luxurious desert tent.

Be fully embrace the arid environment of the Sahara. Visit a local nomadic family to learn about their way of life and how they thrive in the harsh climate. You might even have the chance to share some mint tea with them. Next, head to the Gnawa Village to experience authentic Gnawa music, a genre with roots in sub-Saharan Africa. The afternoon is perfect for exploring the vast Erg Chebbi dunes, taking in the tranquil Sahara landscape. Marvel at the expansive dune vistas and soak in the awe-inspiring desert scenery.

On the last day of your trip, we will drive back to Fes via the Ziz Valley, a region famous for its stunning scenery and palm groves. In Midelt, a small village nestled between the High and Middle Atlas Mountains, enjoy a picnic lunch while surrounded by spectacular mountain views. As we continue our journey, we may even spot some wild Barbary monkeys in the Cedar Forest.
