Meet your driver in Tangier and set off on 4 Day Morocco itinerary toward the Rif Mountains. Then go on to Azrou to see the cedar woods, where you may see wild Barbary macaques. While traveling through Midelt, take in the sights of expansive plateaus and faraway peaks. Then, as you drop into the palm-lined Ziz Valley, make sure to take in the scenery. Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara, should be reached by late afternoon. Experience the sunrise over the Erg Chebbi golden dunes on a camelback ride before spending the night in a desert tent.

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the sand dunes. After breakfast at the camp, we leave the golden dunes of Merzouga and hit the road to Boumalne dades, along the way we will visit places like, the historic desert town of Rissani, known for its traditional market and rich caravan trade heritage. Continue on to the breathtaking Todra Gorge, where towering rock faces rise above a winding riverbed. Take your time walking through the gorge and admiring the spectacular scenery. After lunch, travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs toward the picturesque Dades Valley. Here, you’ll discover remarkable rock formations and ancient walled settlements, creating the perfect setting for an unforgettable overnight stay.

After breakfast, visit the fragrant Rose Valley, known for its traditional products and seasonal rose harvest. Continue to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Gateway to the Desert,” and then head to the breathtaking Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village built entirely of earthen clay and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
