On day two, rise early for witnessing a magical sunrise over the dunes. Today, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the lively local market in Rissani. The vibrant stalls offering spices, fabrics, and handcrafted goods provide a glimpse into traditional Berber culture at this authentic market. After leaving Rissani, we’ll continue to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, known for their towering cliffs that line a winding river valley. The gorges are ideal for a leisurely stroll or simply soaking in the stunning scenery. Your next stop will be Boumalne Dades, where you can relax at a hotel for the night and enjoy dinner while taking in the beautiful views of the Dades Valley.

Hiking in the Dades Rocks Valley, also known as the ‘Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs,’ kicks off Day 4. Ancient walled settlements and stunning rock formations dot this unique landscape. Next, we’ll head to the Rose Valley, famous for its fragrant rose gardens, and make a stop at Skoura Oasis, a picturesque palm forest filled with colorful traditional kasbahs. We’ll end our journey in Ouarzazate, often called the ‘Gateway to the Sahara,’ where you’ll have the chance to explore the local area or visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Afterward, you can enjoy a restful night in Ouarzazate before continuing your adventure.

Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, one of the most famous and beautifully preserved kasbahs in Morocco, is a UNESCO World Heritage site that we will visit on the last day of your Morocco Desert Tour. After exploring Ait Ben Haddou, we’ll take a scenic drive across the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at picturesque towns and enjoying stunning views of the mountainous landscape along the way. We’ll descend into Marrakech, where the journey concludes in the afternoon, after crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, Morocco’s highest mountain pass.
